Program

Day 1 Balikpapan – Mahakam river  (Mahakam houseboat)

On arrival you will be met in Balikpapan and Samarinda brought close to Loa Janan, to go your own houseboat for the next few days. On board It's a simple riverboat but clean and tidy.
You sleep on deck under a mosquito net or in an air-conditioned cab. Simple but clean sanitation. Your own cook and sail along the meals are prepared fresh on board.
The Mahakam River in Loa Janan is wide. You see a lot of sailing ships, mainly logs and coal. The further we go away from Loa Janan how peaceful the river will be and the less buildings on the shore. There are also dangers in the night.

Day 2 Muara Muntai, Mancong, Tanjung Isuy, Muara Pahu (Dayak Benuaq)
