Day 2 Ambon city tour and Pintu Kota

In the morning we take a city tour of Ambon. Then we go to the village of Soya Atas, here we visit the old Raja house; the house of the king / leader of the village. We also visit the church opposite the house. After Soya Atas we continue to Siwalima Museum in Taman Makmur. In this museum you can see. A major maritime, ethnographic, ecological and historical collection In addition to this museum we will visit the Maritime Museum where crocodiles and a complete whale skeleton. After the museum we go to the village Amahusu. Here you can see how the sago production is done. Of baking to eating, you can also taste the sago that just comes out of the oven. Itself For lunch we make a short stop at the Pintu Kota Beach. The lunch we enjoyed on the beach in Namalatu Latuhalat. Here you have the afternoon free to relax and swim. Late in the afternoon we return to the hotel.

Day 3 hitu Peninsula (Hila-Kaitetu)

In the morning we visit the Australian War Memorial in Tantui. Originally this prison camp of the Dutch and Australian soldiers who fought in World War II against the Japanese. Having visited this now peaceful and quiet place we go to Hila - Kaitetu to 1414 to visit Fort Amsterdam, the old church from 1780 and the old mosque Wapaue. We take lunch on the way. We have already seen the production of sago but today we also see how the leaves of the palm are used for example to make roofs. For this we go to the village Rutong. Late in the afternoon we return to the hotel.

Day 4 Round of eastern Ambon

After breakfast we go to the village Fanning. Live here 'holy eels' and we can see how the locals feed them with raw eggs. Also, it is possible to hit the slippery materials, and even to hug. After Fanning we drive to the beach Hunimua. While waiting for lunch, there is plenty of time for swimming and relaxing. Before returning to the hotel in Ambon, and we stop at the Natsepa beach. Here you can taste the delicious fried bananas, better known as 'pisang goreng'. You can also 'rudjak' taste, a spicy fruit salad with brown sugar and peanuts. Late in the afternoon we are back at the hotel.
